"The Longitude Millennium Pipe" and it is a
Limited Edition Dunhill and Number 60/2000 every made
and in the Story Book Hard Bodied Cased and with the
Directions for it and in the SandBlasted Billiard
Straight and a Round Shanked and a 5103 Shape and it
tell Time from the Stainless Steel Rim and a Gold Plated
rorating Bezel with a red Dot to tell you the time and
very hard to find and retail is 1200.00 on it and a
bargin here and it is Unsmoked and Cased and it is 6 by
2 inches and To
celebrate the MILLENNIUM and the year 2000, Alfred
Dunhill Pipes Limited is producing a Limited Edition
pipe, the chosen design being a group 5 billiard Shell
briar. The pipe is fitted with a highly polished
stainless steel rim mount which has the names of world
cities embossed around the top surface. It has a gold
plated rotating bezel which is calibrated into 24
sections which each represent the time in hours, with a
red dot indicating the 00/24 position. By aligning the
red dot with a city at the local Millennium hour, the
actual time in other cities can be seen; for example New
York at 05:00 whilst London is at 24:00
The edition is strictly limited to the production of
2000 pieces only. They are presented in the traditional
leather bound book presentation case, the cover of which
is blind embossed with a graphical motif of the globe,
whilst the spine is silver colored embossed with the
inscription "LONGITUDE". Each pipe is
accompanied by a specially designed and numbered
certificate of authenticity.
